About The ECHMC
The Empowering Communities for a Healthy Mississippi Conference (ECHMC) is the largest gathering of public health professionals in Mississippi, attracting over 400 local and state administrators, nurses, physicians, educators, researchers, epidemiologists, health specialists and engaged citizens, all in one place.
The conference program addresses current and emerging issues in health science, policy and practice related to disease prevention and health promotion. This event has developed to unite the most extensive array of influential public health leaders, healthcare professionals and community health advocates across Mississippi.
The 2025 Empowering Communities for a Healthy Mississippi Conference will include six tracks and seven breakout sessions showcasing best practices, the latest data and research on significant public health initiatives and key community health issues. The conference will feature presentations on a wide variety of topics and specialities. With over 50 sessions available, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
